How to integrate BrowZine within Primo

A number of libraries who utilize Primo for searching their collection want to provide a direct link to BrowZine  as they would rather direct users to BrowZine rather than Primo's Journal A-Z list.  This can be easily done using Primo's Back Office tools.

The goal of this tutorial is to allow you to modify the Main Menu Tile which from the public view appears in the top right hand corner of every page of the Primo interface and will look something like this:

Note: The exact colors and labels may vary depending on configuration you have already done.

From the Primo Back Office then you will want to look for the "Contents of Main Menu Tile" section and then change the link shown below from eJournals (or whatever appears here) to your BrowZine library link which, as shown, is in the format of "http://browzine.com/libraries/xxxx" where the "xxxx" is your library ID.  If you do not know your library's BrowZine ID please contact support@thirdiron.com for assistance.

Note that you can also change the "Link should open in" here to open in a new window/tab or in the current window.  We recommend the option shown - new window/tab so that the user can easily return back to primo after they are done browsing by closing the tab, but note that these options are available.
