Promote 'Recently Added to BrowZine' journals
A widget to highlight journals newly available through the BrowZine interface would be of interest to our users. It would need to have an institutional filter for subscription titles and would also promote Open Access journals.

Have a simple list of titles as an alternative to the bookshelves which display too little
The bookshelves for My Library display too few titles - I'd prefer a simple list, which would enable perhaps 25 titles on a screen - the bookshelf display might be suitable for kids but it's not really necessary for Browzine's users.
8 votesI presume you are referring to the iPad version of the application? If so, know that this modality will be going away with a UI refresh we are working on. While it will still have cover images for recognition, this will allow for more information density to be viewed similar to browzine.com. Thank you!

Export bookshelves and article collections
It would be very useful to be able to export a complete bookshelf or article collection to a list of URL's and to a libguide table.

Include basic PDF markup capabilities in Browzine
It'd be great to be able to do basic markup in the PDF view in Browzine—even just highlighting would be fantastic. A lot of academics like to mark up PDFs while reading and then store the marked-up version in a Zotero or Mendeley library. Browzine is fantastic at retrieving and then uploading to a personal library, but the middle markup step is missing. I used to be able to make it work with Papership or Zotfile, both of which are now defunct. I can export to iAnnotate or some other annotation app, but I can't then get it into Zotero…

Allow for custom upload of dummies to represent titles the library subscribe to, but are not available yet via Browzine
While we know that Browzine could link back to the A-Z list if a user searched for title that's not available in Browzine, we are concerned that actual browsing could be misleading, because users might think this is all that's available and not put in a search. We'd like to have a way to represent ALL of our holdings - including titles Browzine does not offer. If there is a way to custom create dummies by uploading a list, that would resolve the problem, even if they are not as pretty and reflect the actual journal cover.

Ability to add a "note" with specific titles.
For example, if a title requires an ID and password similar to: http://tz7zl3ld3y.search.serialssolutions.com/?V=1.0&N=100&L=TZ7ZL3LD3Y&S=I_M&C=0363-6771

F1000Workspace functionality (like Mendeley and Zotero)
F1000Workspace (from F1000.com), which is a citation manager like Zotero and Mendeley. Our users prefer it and would like Browzine to work with it.

Integrate with ReadCube
Integrate with ReadCube ... way better than Mendeley IMHO

Set a filter for current journals in any subject area
Enable a filter on a URL to select only journals where the current issue is available. Some thing like https://browzine.com/libraries/956/subjects/57/bookcases/69?sort=title&view=current. This would highlight a library's range of up to date journals

Adding an "Notebook" function to "My Articles"
After reading a paper, I really want to write down some notes about the paper, like "the main purpose of the paper", "the interesting points of the paper", etc. It is very useful for future review. However, under each item (paper), we can only download, export citation or share. It would be much convenient if we could add some notes under each item.

Retrieving results from browzine
A. AN ALERT service in the subscribers' email to receive alerts regarding new articles of journals issues saved in "My library". This is about receiving notifications for users on a stationary computer and not a smartphone.
B. FULL TEXT SUBMISSION of marked articles from A "Basket" to e-mail. There is a similar option in multiple databases of marking relevant articles and sending PDF of the articles saved in a basket by email in one action.
C. DATES OF SAVING JOURNALS IN MY LIBRARY: At the access to the journals I saved in "My library" there is a note that the…6 votes -
Switch the default order of journals in subjects
At the moment, if a user clicks on a subject the default order is alphabetical which to me does not seem very useful for browsing. If the user had known the title he would have entered it into the search slot (that works very well!) I would prefer having the journals ordered by SJR value instead so I can see more important journals in a field I'm perhaps not very experienced with (as I don't know many journal titles ...)

Libkey.io and links
It'd be preferable is the linking options in libkey.io (PDF, article link, and view in context) could open in a new tab. This way if a user has to lookup more than 1 article, they don't need to backtrack.

Add dates to articles in Browzine
It would be helpful if dates were added for articles.

Provide the month and page numbers for journal articles. I usually search by month, not issue number.
Please include the month and page numbers for articles in the Available Issues dropdown. It is difficult to search for articles by journal issue number. Most MDs I know refer to an article by the month it was published in a particular journal - eg - "the December issue of JCO." It is tedious opening and closing each issue of a journal to find one particular article that I am look for.

Enable marking a whole issue as a favourite
Many/most journals release special issues dedicated to specific topics. It would be valuable to be able to mark a whole issue as a favourite, so that I can easily return again and again until I've read or saved all articles of interest (particularly useful for those weekly journals, where it is easy to get behind). I was thinking that enabling a change of colour in the list of issues would be one way of handling this, or enabling the addition of an icon to the list of available issues, but there are probably other/better ideas.
