BrowZine Marketing Widget - iFrame Workaround

The iFrame workaround is designed for instances where the BrowZine marketing widget is incompatible with the CMS, or where two or more widgets are desired on a single web page.

Note that this workaround requires access to create and upload a standalone public html page to your web server. If you have any issues with this, we are happy to host the html page for you as a courtesy. Please contact us if you would like to arrange this.

Here are the steps to create an iFrame workaround for the BrowZine marketing widget.
  1. Create a widget on our widget generation page: Once you've chosen your options, click "Update Widget" at the bottom of the page to generate your custom widget code. Copy the HTML from the "Widget Output Code” section.

  2. Open the attached file (widget_iframe_template.html) in a text or code editor. Paste your copied widget code in between the comments where indicated.

  3. Save the below html file (you may change the file name if you wish, but keep the .html extension). FTP the file to a publicly viewable location on a web server.

  4. Insert the following iframe html script where you wish to display the widget, customizing the src attribute with the actual location of the FTP file. Change the width and height attribute in the below iframe code to fit the size widget you created, adjusting as needed to ensure there are no scroll bars on the iframe (increase width and height if scroll bars appear).
The code below is sized for the 500px widget:
<iframe style="border: none; margin: 0; padding: 0;" src="" width="505" height="250" seamless="seamless"></iframe>

The code below is sized for the 400px widget:
<iframe style="border: none; margin: 0; padding: 0;" src="" width="405" height="300" seamless="seamless"></iframe>

The code below is sized for the 190px widget:
<iframe style="border: none; margin: 0; padding: 0;" src="" width="195" height="550" seamless="seamless"></iframe>
