WAM Proxy Configuration Instructions

Modified on Fri, 30 Sep 2022 at 10:31 AM

WAM proxy users may need to add the following domains to their forward tables before using BrowZine Web:
*.thirdiron.com
*.browzine.com
The above should cover most WAM instances, but if your setup does not support wildcards then following is a detailed list of exact subdomains that must be authorized by your proxy:
thirdiron.com
api.thirdiron.com
staging-api.thirdiron.com
www.thirdiron.com
auth.thirdiron.com
browzine.com
api.browzine.com
staging-api.browzine.com
www.browzine.com
auth.browzine.com

Why am I getting a server error (500, 502, 503) when attempting to load my browzine.com library URL?

WAM proxy users should NOT apply the proxy to any browzine.com url, including the unique library url that was provided to you in your BrowZine welcome email. (http://browzine.com/libraries/xxxx).

BrowZine will automatically apply the proxy for the user based on your provided IP ranges, so if you attempt to also apply the proxy then this will result in a server error (typically 500 or 502).

Further, if you have not properly added the above subdomains, this may result in a 503 server error.

Please contact support@thirdiron.com with any other questions or issues related to your WAM proxy and BrowZine/LibKey.
