This Policy does not apply to information collected by us offline or through any other means, including on any other website or application operated by Third Iron or any third party, or information collected by any third party through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from the Website (for further information, see below, “Links to Other Services and Websites”).
Application Privacy Policy
Third Iron offers BrowZine and LibKey web browser and mobile applications and services (collectively “Applications”) to licensed organizations such as universities, schools, hospitals, corporations and government research labs (“Licensed Entities”). Individuals affiliated with these Licensed Entities may access and use our Applications on the web, network and devices of these Licensed Entities. Information We Collect
We collect information from you in two ways. First, you provide us with certain information when you access and otherwise use our Website. Second, we collect certain information automatically as you interact with our Website. If you do not want us to collect this information, please do not provide it. The information we may receive and collect includes:
- Personal Information. To ensure that we provide you with the best possible experience, we will store, use, and disclose personal information about you in accordance with this Policy. Aggregated and de-Identified data could be derived from your Personal Information but is not considered Personal Information under applicable law as this data will not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. However, if we combine or connect aggregated or de-identified data with your Personal Information so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as Personal Information which will be used in accordance with this Policy.
- Free-Text Boxes. The information that you provide in each case will vary. In some cases, you may be able to provide Personal Information via email or free text boxes, such as contacting Third Iron to request further information. When providing your Personal Information, please provide only relevant information and do not provide unnecessary sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, credit card information or other sensitive personal data, unless required for our services.

Automated Information Collection
In addition to the information that you provide to us, we may also collect information about you during your visit to our Website. Embedded Web Links. Links provided in our emails and, in some cases, on third-party websites may include tracking technology embedded in the link. The tracking is accomplished through a redirection system. The redirection system allows us to understand how the link is being used by email recipients. - Web Beacons: A Web Beacon is an electronic image (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us to understand User behavior, for example, to count users who have opened an email. Such use shall not include Personal Information or information that can identify you as an individual or reasonably be used to identify you.
- Transfer or Assignment in Connection with Business Transfers or Bankruptcy. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy or sale of all or a portion of our assets, any Personal Information owned or controlled by us may be one of the assets transferred to third parties. We reserve the right, as part of this type of transaction, to transfer or assign your Personal Information and other information we have collected from users of the services to third parties. Other than to the extent ordered by a bankruptcy or other court, or as otherwise agreed to by you, the use and disclosure of all transferred user information will be subject to this Policy. Third Iron takes commercially reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration disclosure or destruction of your Personal Information. However, like other companies, Third Iron cannot guarantee 100% the security or confidentiality of the information you provide to us. We use a select number of trusted external service providers for certain technical data analysis, processing and/or storage offerings. We only disclose information with them that is required for the services offered and we contractually bind them to keep Personal Information we disclose to them confidential and to process Personal Information according to our instructions.
Rights and Choices
- Opt-Out. If you have established a User account or registered for our email newsletter and do not wish to receive communications from us, you may unsubscribe at any time.
- Correction. You have the right to access your Personal Information and to correct, amend, or delete such Personal Information if it is inaccurate. Such state laws may include, but are not limited to, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 and its implementing regulations (“CCPA”), Colorado Privacy Act and its implementing regulations (“CPA”), Connecticut Data Privacy Act (“CTDPA”), Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act (“MTCDPA”), Oregon Consumer Data Protection Act (“OCPA”), Utah Consumer Privacy Act (“UCPA”), and Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (“VCDPA”) (collectively “U.S. Privacy Laws”). Any Personal Information we collect is for the commercial purpose of effectively providing our Website to you, as well as enabling you to learn more about and benefit from our Website and services. Nevada Privacy

Data Privacy Framework: EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework with UK Extension, and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework
Third Iron participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (“EU-U.S. DPF”), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (“Swiss-U.S. DPF”) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Third Iron, LLC and its affiliate BZ DISC Inc has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. DPF Principles with regard to the processing of Personal Information received from the European Union in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and from the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar) under the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. Third Iron, LLC and its affiliate BZ DISC Inc has also certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles with regard to the processing of Personal Information received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this Privacy Policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. We are committed to upholding the DPF Principles to all Personal Information received from the European Union, United Kingdom (and Gibraltar) and Switzerland in reliance on the relevant parts of the DPF program.
Third Iron, LLC and its affiliate BZ DISC, Inc is responsible for the processing of Personal Information it receives, under each Data Privacy Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Third Iron, LLC and its affiliate BZ DISC, Inc complies with the Data Privacy Framework Principles for all onward transfers of Personal Information from the EU, the UK and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions.
The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over Third Iron’s and its affiliate BZ DISC Inc’s compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF. In certain situations, Third Iron, LLC and its affiliate BZ DISC Inc may be required to disclose Personal Information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF, Third Iron, LLC and its affiliate BZ DISC, Inc commits to refer unresolved complaints concerning our handling of Personal Information received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF to VeraSafe, an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the United States. Children’s Privacy
