The following Israeli Universities: Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ben Gurion and Bar Ilan,  would like to propose mild correction to the text displayed on the Nomad button regarding journals flagged as problematic.

Currently, the text reads "Problematic Journals."

We suggest changing the text to:

"Problematic Journal per Cabells"

This change will:

  1. Provide clarity by specifying that the designation is based on Cabells' evaluation.
  2. Avoid misinterpretation, ensuring that users understand these journals are potentially problematic, rather than definitively flagged as such.
  3. Align with best practices of transparency, ensuring that users are aware of the basis for this classification.

We believe this small adjustment will improve user experience and align the text more accurately with the intended meaning.

Thank you for considering this suggestion.

This is likely to be in a spring update -- so 2-3 months.  If in the meantime it causing an issue on your end, please feel free to send us a ticket at [email protected] and we can disable this new feature entirely until this update is released if you would like.  Thank you!

Thank you for the update.  Do you have an estimated timeline for when this customization feature will be available in Nomad?

Thanks for the suggestion.  We will be providing ways to customize this text in Nomad soon so that these libraries and others can adjust the default text to their liking.  We will update this suggestion as this flexibility is made available.  Thanks!
