LibKey Discovery / API
Most of these services require a library to do an initial bit of setup so that users will have a seamless experience, but some services provide a mechanism for a user to self-affiliate instead so there is no setup on the library side but a brief setup for the user.

LibKey Nomad
Setup is done either by the end user who downloads LibKey Nomad or via a site install where the IT group at your organization can pre-configure it on managed machines.
LibKey Nomad provides linking capabilities across hundreds of different domains and thousands of publishers when a user is viewing the article page on the publisher's site.
Google Scholar
- The user is within the IP range that the library has reported to Google Scholar as being an "on campus" IP
- The user is signed into their Google account *and* they have hand-configured Google Scholar to utilize their institution's library links.

These services never require any library setup because the workflow allows the user to self-affiliate to their organization when prompted to help provide the correct linking to full text.
